These are in a database accessed by a program called Digger. They were originally produced by Public Records Office Victoria in conjunction with Macbeth Software. If I knew Access or any other database program I would probably be able to decipher them but I can't. They are set up to run only from the CD (although I've got around that). They are the indexes to Births, Marriages and Deaths in the Colony and State of Victoria, Australia.
Ancestry has some of the indexes in the Australian Birth Index, Death Index, and Marriage Index. However not all fields were transcribed which is why I rely on the CD's.
