Yes, they have added this capability in FTM2012:
1) "hot links" to the Source Citation screen and also in the
2) general area at the bottom of the Person page, along with personal notes, research notes, personal media, and now: "hot links". (your name - ftm calls them simply "web links".
It's a great change. I use both all the time.
One bad thing is that for some reason, "paste" the link into the field provided doesn't remember the "copy" that you just made. I have had to get around that sometimes by pasting to Note Pad and re-copy to the web link field.
