I too have used the FTM software since the 1990's Broderbund editions and agree that Ancestry needs to step up to the plate on FTM2012.
I don't know if the sync programming is an impossible dream or one that can be done well by new programmers, but if the latter is true...some smart people are bound to snag this tiger by the tail.
Yes, we can use the best of AMT and FMT..but it startles me that the programmers did not do the same, ie, create ONE GREAT program. But they didn't ask me!
