I guess I was too trusting of automatic sync and not vigilant enough about what was happening. My syncs were apparently duplicating individuals and records, back and forth. When I tried to go to a backup, I found that as far back as August 2012, this was happening, and I don't have a backup that is correct. Then, to make things worse, I deleted some dupes in my online tree instead of merging records from A-D (didn't know about that). Now, I may have deleted individuals, but the source information, etc., has been duplicated for the remaining individual repeatedly. This has happened not only for the originally duplicated individuals A-D, but for all their relatives. I am distraught and don't think I can save my file without days and days of recreation, etc. Just want you to know what happens. Learn about merging before deleting.
