You should consider yourself fortunate (Sorry, I'm being facetious) as I can't even upload my file to Ancestry. FWIW, I'll paste recent correspondence with Ancestry:
Thanks for a response but I have to say that you haven't answered most of my questions. Let’s take the issues:
1. As I indicated in my posting, I've already tried the suggestions contained in your "How can I repair a Family Tree Maker 2012 File?" The only exception was I couldn't create a Gedcom file as I got a similar non-helpful error message as I got when trying to upload the file to Ancestry
2. I raised the question as to why Ancestry finds it acceptable to let its coders produce error messages that don't in any way help the customer find the problem.
3. I asked why Ancestry won't provide a "stand-alone" program or other solution that let's customers error check the file and receive helpful error messages. I, and I would guess, other customers. would rather have Ancestry spend its resources developing such a solution rather than deal with each corrupted file in a "one-off" fashion.
4. I asked how it would be possible to be able to use successfully the Backup/Restore functions in FTM while not being able to create a Gedcom.
While I don't have much hope that the "Support Team" has the authority to answer questions like this, perhaps the Mr. or Ms Higgins in the Copy field would have enough sufficient authority to allocate resources to this problem.

Dear Frank,
Thank your for bringing the error that you are getting to our attention. We regret that you are still running into this issue.
Like you mentioned, the error that you are encountering is pointing toward corruption in your file. There are several things you can do to repair your file. For a full list of our troubleshooting steps to repair files, please clre.
If you have gone through all these steps and still cannot get the file to work correctly, we ask that you send us a copy of your file so we can work on it. You mentioned in your post that you have done this before. Unfortunately, with the information we have it does not show that we got that file. If you could send it to us again, by uploading it to a site like GE.TT and e-mailing us the link so we can download the file, we would do what we can to get that file in working order. While there are no guarantees on being able to repair the file, we will work on fixing it as soon as possible.
If we are unable to repair the file, we recommend using the most recent backup file before you encountered these issues.
