Ok it might just be the way the software handles things but is their a reason that when i attached, for example, the 1940 census to my grandpa and then i attached the same census to my unlce that when you look at the media items it puts that census on your computer twice...efectively putting double the amount of items needed on your computer.
I have tested this using ancestry.com attach file and from ftm 2012 attach file (say from leaf hint)
Is their a way to make sure it knows to use the same census report especisally when the names are on the same page. i mean i have 5 ppl on one page so it puts 5 copies of the same thing on my computer. It is fine when this is linked online as it is using the cloud and ancestry database to pull that informaiton from.
