I know that ancestry allows tagging of a photo, but it does not appear that the tagging sync's or exports to FTM? Can somebody explain to me how tagging works? I was thinking (hoping) that the tag would travel with the photo, as part of metadata? So if certain applications can use that metadata then you can see the tag. But so far I'm not finding that tagging done in ancestry can be seen anywhere else, not even FTM? Would appreciate any comments to help understanding this better as I have many many photos I only want to tag once. Thanks.
