The latest patch/update does include the ability to generate a printed sync log.
To do that - Start your sync then wait until it gathers the information about what is needed to sync. When the windows is displayed with the counts, you now have an option to create a report with a one minute timer count-down.
I suggest at that time, to stop the timer, then look at the report to see what media is being sync'd. Or even better, print the report to a PDF file and save that for later review. Printing to a PDF file seems to work better than the "save as PDF" option, in my experience.
To print to a PDF file, you will need to have some type of program installed that can do that. The one I use the most is PrimoPDF (free) - www.primopdf.com. There are several other free programs that can do that if you don't already have that ability.
On the sync report, there is a list of media to be sync'd. Look for special characters in the media file name such as plus (+), ampersands (&), slashes (/ or \), questions marks (?), asterisks (*), tilde (~), etc. as those may cause sync errors.
I have seen many times that one or a few media do not complete the first time, but when I click Retry, it finishes normally.
