Does it perhaps depend on which way you work? I work in my online AMT and sync to FTM 2012. I think I remember, from previous threads, that silverfox does not sync.
Not judging what's right or wrong for an individual, just commenting about what may or may not work within the FTM/AMT system.
Since my earlier reply, I have checked another dozen or so people in my tree, from various states. 1910 census, so far, ALWAYS has proper citation data in the FTM record.
EDIT - I did find a 1900 census missing the citation detail. I was working on something else, so I have not had time to verify if there are other 1900 census records missing the citation.
