In FTM, you see multiple relationships at:
Main Menu in People Workspace > Tools > Relationship Calculator.
Note that you have probably selected one of the two already before you got here, so now you choose the second person from a pick list of people in your database.
You will notice the word Relationship, followed by a number in parenthesis. This number is the number of relationships the two people have - both direct (blood) and indirect (marriage).
Below that is a horizontal bar with a down arrow. Press on that and it will show the various relationships that the two people have. I have some people with over 50 relationships with each other.
If you want to see the details of the "trail" of each of you back to common ancestor, press on the View Relationship Chart and you will how to the two of you each trace your ancestor back to a common ancestor.
As noted by others - NEVER, EVER enter a person more than once.
As for the mechanics of how to enter people: just like an erector set - one family at a time.
