That's true, you can do that, but if you put the cemetery in the Place field, you have this many steps from the Person or Family tabs:
1) Click Places
2) Type first few letters of place name and select the cemetery.
Boom... you're done. The people are listed to the right and you can print them, if you wish.
Much easier and less trouble. Also a lot of people use the description field for other things, like alternative names, plot numbers, inscriptions, who buried with, etc, etc. By putting the Cemetery name in the Place field, you are leaving the Description field for those other uses.
