Not with FTM2010. You have to upgrade to FTM2012.
Once with FTM2012.
Select a fact
Right click - copy
Right click - paste - will bring up a "family" screen - you can select or deselect that fact to multiple people in that family.
You can't select other people in your file. The list of people includes only those who are directly linked to the target person, including parents, siblings, spouses, and children. So, you still have to manually enter these facts for grandparents, uncles, nieces, etc.
That said, are you an ancestry.com subscriber and using an ancestry.com census database? If so, at least you can merge all facts of each person with one operation (name, date of birth, and residence.) That is the normal operation from 1850-1870. For 1880 and after, you can post all of those facts to all of the people in the nuclear family.
