I would suggest that you telephone tech support at a convenient time - it will likely be a long phone call.
I had an issue where mine would not open several months ago, after a Windows update. I got a very knowledgeable support tech on the phone, and she stayed on the phone with me for a couple of hours, troubleshooting, walking through the event viewer results, etc.
