Thanks for your reply. It is too bad that a 1996 database (The Master Genealogist based on FoxPro) can run circles around a "modern" database like FTM and not have memory (or speed) issues. I still prefer FTM for many of its features.

If the programmers of FTM would take care of the screen refresh issues, it would be faster.
