I have only the US subscription and I was able to ignore the international hints. From the hints list, I would select the option to view all hints for a person (dropdown arrow on the button with the number of hints for that person). It would pull up the hints tab on that person's page and there was an option to ignore the hint (under the Review hint button). Fortunately I did not get too many international hints.
