FTM didn't invent the wheel here, and its citation system is flexible. You do not need to provide any "Citation detail" or "Citation text". In those cases where "it is simply sufficient to reference the source", what's stopping you from reusing a single citation for all the facts cited? You don't have to create three dozen different citations.
