Except this isn't really something that needs to be "fixed". It's a convenience feature, not a bug. I am not against the feature being added but I would also rather see some of the fundamental issues with the software resolved before they start adding convenient but unnecessary features. I don't think that makes me bitter or moaning at all - just logical.
