This is a pretty rare issue. Normally it's caused by security software preventing FTM from using your Internet connection, I would suggest uninstalling ESET - installing FTM and verifying proper operation - and then if you must, reinstall ESET and deal with whatever settings need to be made in it to prevent interference.
