After moving to FTM 2012 I discovered that the notes for 1-2 dozen of my entries did not transfer. I recreated the notes by copy and pasting from a backup GED file into the proper location in FTM 2012. However, I've recently discovered that the old notes are indeed in the file, they just are not accessible. Only the newly created notes can be viewed and edited via the program interface. For example for a Great Uncle I find reference in the GED file (in the INDIVIDUAL section of the text file) to
1 NOTE @N22@ and to 1 NOTE @N1239@.
@N22@ holds the correct notes. @N1239@ holds the old notes that didn't transfer correctly and I can find no way to get to these old notes via the program interface. In all cases, the second note reference is the false/old ones.
Hence my Question: How do I access these old note so they can be deleted?
