Regarding the "compacting file" suggestion by Ancestry support staff, I fully agree with you that this is another example of bogus cheap evasion of solving the real syncing problems, shown by incompetent or uncaring staff.

Further insult was added when the Ancestry support staff gave a link to generic solutions to try, most of which the user had said he already performed.
This type of bad useless support makes me wonder if Ancestry staff and supervisors are too stupid to understand written text or too lazy to help or too incompetent to be of use. The purpose of this post is to help show that this dismally poor and unprofessional support is not an isolated instance, but seems to be a larger and widespread problem of both FTM and Ancestry.com.
