No you have been clear enough. But what works for you might not work for someone else. Every person has different needs or wants. Which is evident by the other person's question in the thread previously.
What doe not interest or confuse one person is very interesting to another.
You don't have to kill trees to do this either. Many people 'publish' in a searchable PDF file. That is another way that some people prefer the 'books'.
So again, what works for you is great but to be helpful to all others reading or responding on a thread I think more options and flexibility is needed.
That's sort of the whole point really - FTM does not do reports ALL the ways that some people want. It doesn't matter if one person does it another way or not. The goal is to answer the question/request of the OP or others with the same needs or request.
So your suggestion is to copy/paste into MS WORD. OK. For me that is too labor intensive if doing a large book. My suggestion is export then import (a quick process) into the other program I mentioned which does a LOT more report and chart formats, including book format of extended family.
