Re: Death and Burial

OP: My facts are always verified, with a few exceptions. One of those exceptions is the burial date. Every thing that has been said about facts, whether in genealogy, or in any research, is just common sense. If your research is not document with sources it is worthless. That is why after 10 years of research my database consisted of less that 2000 people, I am not happy with the quality of the facts for other people that I know are in my tree.

In most cases the burial date is not very important but the location of the burial is. The burial date is never going to be before the person died, and in the times before refrigeration is going to be within a couple of day after the event. (In the frozen north I realize this is not true but my family does not live that far north.)

My original question was about documenting the date not whether sources were or were not important.
