Can't send gedcom or upload to ancestry......

I have been trying without success to send a gedcom of my family tree or compacting the file, everything is working well untill it comes to analysing sourse material when the program crashes and closes. When i upload the tree to ancestry the program tells me it has completed the task but when i try to open the tree on ancestry there are no individuals added.
I have started another tree and done the same thing with that and it works ok so seems to be a problem with the data on the original tree.
