No, that is not my question. Let me state it in terms of the process...
In FTM 2010
People view; see a leaf; click leaf
(Let's say it is Mary, daughter of John)
Web search tab opens; list of hits appears
Select one that looks hopeful
Open the image of the "hit" document (say, a census)
Now, at this point, is there anything on the screen or that I can easily get to that will indicate to me whether or not this data has been previously merged?
Remember that it may have been merged previously when working on John--and the merge process also entered the data for Mary as you walked through the steps in the merge process.
I am asking this because I am beginning to find indications of double merges. For example, I'll have two residences for 1930 with identical text.
