Rather than add more bells and whistles, I'd rather they focus on fixing problems with basic functionality. It would be nice to finally have a version that didn't continuously crash, leak memory, and have to be restarted after every merge from Ancestry. These are problems that have existed since this user interface was introduced in 2008.
All I care about is that my data stays intact and not continuously at risk of corruption by the application crashing. When a database becomes large, most of the other features (sync, media view, places view, etc.) become so sluggish they're totally useless, even on a 6-core 8GB 64-bit Windows 7 system.
