I too have had syncing problems, In fact, I have been unable to sync since August. I've contacted Ancestry twice. None of their suggestion have helped. When I log on to Family Tree, I get a note informing me that a required update is available, but when I click o.k., the message disappears but no updates. When I open Family Tree again, I get the same message. When I cancel that message, Family Tree opens and attempts to sync with Ancestry. After several minutes, an error message appears that the sync failed and to try again later. Personnel at Ancestry made several suggestions, none of which worked. First they suggested that I download and install a specific patch. I did, but when I tried to install the patch, I got another error message. Consequently, I tried installing all available patches one after the other, None worked! Ancestry suggested that I try a computer reboot. That didn't work either.I'm about out of options and patience. Any suggestions?
