I have a similar, occasional but recurring, problem which may be related. I have 3 citations which occasionally appear as "changed" in the sync log, even though the citations have not been touched. I always know when they are going to show up, because "analyzing changes/FTM" is very slow (may take 10 or more minutes for this part of the process even though there have been minimal changes and the ensuing sync is also very slow to complete).
This has occurred in every FTM file I have created since the first release of FTM, but with different citations (always the same citations in a given file, but the citations in each file have been different).
Attached is an example from this morning. From the AMT, I added 7 people to my synced tree from another of my trees. I synced the changes to FTM, which created a citations for the 7 people citing "Ancestry Member Trees" as the source.
The only change I made before syncing again was to delete the "ancestry member trees" source from the source workspace (which in turn deleted the citations from the 7 new people). None of the 7 people have citations related to the 3 citations which show as "changed" in the sync log (see attached). In fact, because I just added them, they have no citations other then the citations connected to the AMT source I was deleting.
