The archived page is static, but it does include the url to the page where the information is found.
I bookmark the page to my web browser and have my favorites organized so I can quickly reference back to the page if I need it.
The thing I like about the static page image is that I have the information captured with the date that I viewed the page as a source document and I can quickly compare the static image to the website (if the page still exists). If the live website is no longer there, I haven't lost the source info or have a source file full of extinct weblinks.
