Jedwin, one more time I agree with Russ
"That is easy enough to do each time I boot up FTM2012 but when I add several more parameters, it is hard to consistently reenter the filter correctly. I guess what I really would like to have is the ability to save the filter parameters. I could refresh the resulting list of people whenever I wished."
I create many filtered reports especially in books and I also have a difficult time remembering the "paramaters" I previously set.
So I agree with Russ, you should send this in to the Development Group as a suggestion. Possibly the best time to refresh the system is on a report by report basis. That is, the next time you run the report the system would run the report based on the saved parameters for that report [ and it would continue to run that report using those saved parameters until you, the user, changed the parameters]
