This is a nit-picky question, but, hey, what are genealogists if not constitutional nit-pickers?
Does anyone know the exact limitations of the Relationship Calculator in FTM2012 as to identifying common ancestors?
Example: A person whose father is identified as a 7th cousin 19x removed (that is, the person is clearly my 8th cousin 18x removed) comes up as having "no common relative"--so does anyone know what precisely the limitation in the software is?
