Does the little green "oscillating line" in lower right corner keep going? Or does it disappear?
After it disappears, how long do you give it for the report to show up?
My guess is that you are running out of memory, although that usually comes with a Windows message. FTM is setup so that the whole report is in memory and in "print screen" mode before you decide to print or share.
You don't mention how many people are in that report.
I guess you mean Descendant Genealogy Report and not Outline Descendant Report. Can you run an outline descendant report with the same people in it? If you can, then I think you have a memory problem.
I don't understand your question "a way around so many people". What are you tring to accomplish? If you just want your direct from an immigrant to you without all the branches in the Genealogy (Register) Report - that is an enhancement request which I have made every year for awhile now. Other than that, you'd have to do something like: Print the first three generations. Then, select your ancestor out of the fourth generation and print another Genealogy Descendant Report from him. That will then omit fourth and later in other branches.
