I agree that no further discussion is necessary. I have apparently been unsuccessful in conveying that Figure 3 in your original message is a direct line paternal line presentation of a piece of a person's ancestry. This Pairing system numbering system simply drives the order in which the paternal lines are listed (as opposed to, say, alphabetical) in a line by line presentation, and has nothing to do with an ahnentafel, which is a completely different numbering system. I do have a problem with this report being shown "upside down", from nearest ancestor to furthest, instead of the traditional furthest to closest ancestor, ie top-down.
I have made this enhancement request annually to FTM for about five years now and have discussed it in several threads on this board over the years.
