FTM 2012's Outline Descendant Report is one of the most useful of its reports.
It is sophisticated and powerful with many dates/settings/fields options.
I find that it is easy to read when indentation is set to 20-25 characters. That way generations tend to line up vertically which makes reading the generations much clearer.
One minor suggestion would be to have the starting person's spouse indent by 1 character rather than the 20-25 characters in the setout which I use.
One MAJOR suggestion would be to adopt an arrangement based on Brothers Keeper's descendant tree. This lines up generations vertically in an even easier to read graphical fashion. And it has most of the same date and field options as well. And where there are two or more spouses, relevant children can be identified according to whether they are from the second or third spouse, etc. Descendants (excl spouses and dates) can be printed in bold which further enhances readability.
An EVEN MORE MAJOR suggestion would be to adopt this Brothers Keeper's descendant tree as an option to FTM's People/Family View Workspace, where BK's tree could be used as an alternative navigation screen as opposed to the current Family View. I do not know if this is actually possible for your developers, but if it was, this would provide the best possible basis for navigation compared to any other genealogy program.
